Techno Brain and United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) Signs MOU to Establish a Micro Organization for Global Workforce Development.
Techno Brain Group & United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) have partnered to equip professionals & young Kenyans with high-end ICT, entrepreneurship & leadership skills leading to creation of Micro-organization & Global workforce development. The primary goal of this unique capacity building platform is to build the 21st Century knowledge economy leading to the development of next generation of globally competitive ICT leadership and technology talents that will transform Kenya & beyond through world-class service, both to the benefit of the private and the public sectors. The focus here is to overcome the challenges of skill not restricted to ICT skills but needed functional skills, language barriers which are all overcome by drawing the strengths & experiences of both the parties.
The collaboration will see the deployment of a World Class Center Of Excellence for imparting high end ICT training. The Center of Excellence will also offer, for the first time on the African continent, high end ICT training in the areas of Banking, Insurance, Finance, Marketing & HR specializations, whose impact will not be restricted to the development professionals, university’s faculty & students but also building Micro-organization right within the campus supported by industry best practices through mentoring, projects & internships.
Speaking at the occasion of the MOU sign-off, Techno Brain Group CEO, Mr. Manoj Shanker commended the achievements of the joint process of developing ICT Workforce Skills catering to Corporates and students.

Speaking at the ceremony, USIU-Africa’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Freida Brown Vice Chancellor said, “USIU-Africa’s ICT leadership has put us at the fore of cutting-edge developments in the industry for a long time. Our continuing engagements in the ICT industry has resulted in a practical outlook and skillset needed by university students entering the workplace.”
“This unique collaboration will increase and aid USIU-Africa Research and Development (R&D) output and continue giving our students the competitive edge they need to succeed in a new workplace, as well as offer the same leadership to any and every organization they join,” she added.
